About JawBuddy
JawBuddy is a personalized self-therapy app for people with painful bruxism and chronic TMJ disorders. We are CE-marked, closing our pre-seed round with leading healthtech experts, and already have first health insurance partners ready.
More than 2,000 people have downloaded JawBuddy. Now we are bringing the app to the many more people who need it.
The role
You work directly with the founders as their operational right hand, with real workstreams from week one. You start by driving the development of our next MVP. As our health insurance partnerships go live, you build the operational processes behind them. Later, you help prepare our next financing round: data room, investor pipeline, and materials. YYou own 2–3 projects at a time and share your results directly with the founders every week.

- Turn open questions into structured recommendations the team can act on that week
What we are looking for
- Enrolled as a student, with 18–20 hours/week available during the semester
- German (C1 or above) plus strong English, our partner and insurance work is German-market
- Structured, self-directed working style: you break fuzzy problems into plans and close loops unprompted
- Reliable coordination of external partners: follow-ups, deadlines, and early flags instead of surprises
Nice to have
- First exposure to startups, consulting, venture building, or healthcare
- No-code, spreadsheet, or light analytics skills (e.g. Notion, Zapier, Airtable)
- Curiosity about how startup fundraising works, you will learn the rest here
What you can expect
