Our mission is to democratize access to high quality jaw therapy. We are turning the smartphone in your pocket into a personalized digital clinic, helping you smile without pain again.
2. The Story (The Origin)
JawBuddy (the force behind the KauSchlau app) was born from a frustration with the status quo.
We realized that while dentists can diagnose Bruxism and CMD (Craniomandibular Dysfunction), the real work of healing happens outside the doctor's office in your daily habits and nightly routine. But patients were being left alone in that gap.
We combined forces—merging medical expertise with advanced technology to bridge that gap. By using Augmented Reality (AR) and medical algorithms, we created a solution that acts like a therapist right next to you, guiding every movement to ensure you heal correctly.
From our roots in university research to being backed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs (EXIST) and the European Union, we have grown from a concept into a certified medical vision.
